< Back Farmers' Market The market is open the 2nd Saturday of each month April-October The Farmers' Market is a ministry that grew out of the Racial Reconciliation group. It was launched in 2024 and takes place on the 2nd Saturday of each month from April to October, running from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the church’s lower parking lot. The market’s goal is to support local Durham farmers and vendors of color, and address food insecurity in collaboration with the Walltown Food Ministry. We strive to share faith stories about what God is doing in our lives and aim to build relationships within the community connecting people with Jesus. Seeking Christ This step is a welcoming introduction to Christian faith and life at Grace. You’ll learn who Jesus is, what Christians believe, and how faith connects to everyday life. Along the way, you’ll be introduced to simple practices like prayer, reading the Bible, and reflection, and you’ll have opportunities to experience worship and community in a low-pressure, supportive environment. < Back Quilters Team Help us make quilts to share with people in need around the world. The groups’ main focus is quilting for charity through the Lutheran World Relief Mission. Making Lutheran World Relief Mission quilts is a tangible way to express love to our neighbors in need. Quilts can be used as warm bedding, simple tents or floor coverings. Each one reflects God's loving presence in a world rife with suffering. Quilts are blessed and sent to Lutheran World Relief for shipping around the world. < Back Duke Lutherans The Duke Lutherans are an inclusive campus ministry of undergraduate and graduate students, called to share God's gift of life together on campus, with our local congregations, and throughout Durham. Citing the long-standing relationship between Grace Lutheran Church and the Duke Lutherans the members of Grace believe that after over 50 years it was time to offer a permanent space at Grace for the Duke Lutherans to call home. In addition, it provides Grace members with the opportunity to worship together, and mentor/coach young students as they grow in their Christian faith living and studying in their new educational setting. The Center is open 7 days per week from 6 AM to 12 AM for students to gather. Worship service at the DLC is Sundays 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM with a fellowship dinner served by congregation members of Grace Lutheran Church and St Paul’s Lutheran Church. All are welcome.
