Wednesdays at One : Protecting Yourself from Scam and Fraud

Wednesdays at One continues on August 27 with a speaker and potluck lunch. Sarah Welsch, Outreach Specialist from the Public Protection Section of the NC Department of Justice Attorney General's Office, will discuss scams that target people through phone calls, texts, and online messages.

She’ll also share tips for safeguarding your personal and financial information, and offer helpful resources from the Consumer Protection Division.

Bring a dish to share and learn how to stay safe and informed. Lunch starts at 12pm with the presentation following at 1pm.
