Picnic in the Park
Picnic in the Park with Grace Lutheran Church Saturday, May 2 at 11am Things to bring: Yard games, etc. A picnic dish to share A friend! Sandwiches will be provided. Morreene Park : This park has a playground, tennis and pickleball courts, basketball courts, and open space for other activities.


Grace Farmers' Market 2026 Season
Grace's Farmers' Market is open the 2nd Saturday of each month from April to October from 1pm-4pm in the church's lower parking lot. The market's goal is to support local Durham farmers and vendors of color, and address food insecurity in collaboration with the Walltown Food Ministry. Wednesdays at One - April 29
Wednesdays at One: April 29 | Save the date for our next Wednesdays at One on April 29, featuring a fascinating presentation by Ingrid Daubechies, “Reunited: The Ghissi Altarpiece.” We’ll gather for a potluck lunch at 12:30pm, followed by Ingrid’s engaging talk on a fourteenth-century Italian altarpiece, its conservation, and how scholars have worked to understand its creation through modern reconstruction.
